In this course, you will learn about how environmental justice emerged as a movement to advocate for community and individual health. You’ll explore a few examples of environmental justice, and the people who have fueled its development and continued strength.

In this course, you will learn about the carbon cycle and other scientific processes related to climate change, as well as human activities that accelerate these processes. After learning about these processes independently, you’ll see how they affect real people in a case study about Flint, Michigan.

In this course, you’ll meet Avery, a character living in a majority-Black neighborhood. By analyzing Avery’s story, you’ll learn about the the factors in a community that cause health issues or mitigate them, as well as the real communities these issues affect today.
